i am so sorry at your loss. i know what your going thru as my wife just passed away from cancer. i knew al when we worked at hpb. we played softball together and bowled together. i remember him bringing greg to the bowling alley. we had many good times together at work and play, even on the fishing trips. he will be missed by all. If you were lucky enough to be a scout or a leader in a unit that Al oversaw, you were lucky to have someone who cared to make sure things were done right. Al was always encouraging when he visited your meeting, even 2 weeks ago encouraging me to attend Philmont next summer. His warmth & caring & his knowledge of all things scouting will be missed.
