Annie and I have known each other a long time, over 40 years. We attended the same high school not knowing that one day we'd be sister-in-laws. I thought it would be nice to keep our family together so we bought a house in the same town as Annie & Bill. So our big story began in Wantagh where we had children together, some in the same years. We shared so many events in our lives, being in the same community. We even sent our children to the same nursery schools. I can't believe our togetherness ends here today. That future holidays she will only be here spiritually, but I know that her presence will be felt at every gathering for many years. She was a vibrant and beautiful woman whom I admired for her caring and warmth. She touched our lives and our hearts. She will be truly missed.

My son was lucky to Mrs. Allison as his fourth grade teacher last year. She made him feel so loved and special. She took an interest in his interests and the boy who always gave me a hard time about going to school quickly turned into the boy who couldn't wait to get to class and tell Mrs. Allison about the rare silver quarter he got as change or the ship he made out of cardboard and duct tape over the weekend. We were just reminiscing tonight about her and laughing about the sneezing fits she would have during class. The children would all count the number of sneezes and see if she could break the last sneeze fit record. She once got to 13 sneezes! He loved her very much..we all did. We are so blessed to have known her. She will be sorely missed. She was one of a kind ❤️

As my daughters 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Allison made the most memeorable impact of all her teachers. She is now 21 and will always have the fondest memories of Mrs. Allison. She was the warmest most uplifting woman to all her students. She truly brought out the best in her students and provided so much encouragement and confidence. Years later every time I saw her she would always ask "how is Marisa?" She never forgot her students. All loved her dearly, my daughter will always remember her as her favorite teacher of all time..She will be missed and will always be remembered as a great lady. My condolences to her loved ones, she left you too soon so very sorry.
