Francesca Messina left a message on June 6, 2020:
I am deeply saddened to hear that Anthony passed away. Just 6 months ago when my dad passed away on November 26, 2019, Anthony did the honors of taking care of my dad. My dad who was in the fruit and produce business for 43 years was long time friends with Anthony. My dad was the successful owner of Sal's Fruit Tree for 43 years, Anthony used to deliver Coca-Cola. Anthony met my dad when he had his store in Copiague. 6 months ago I remember shaking Anthony's hand, I remember Anthony firmly grasped my hand and I instantly knew he had a loving soul and cared deeply about my dad and my family. I still cannot believe I am 16 years old and just within last year and this year we lost two special people. Words cannot express how deeply Anthony will be missed. He had a good heart and a kind soul. May he rest in peace and enter the eternal light where he will be no longer in pain. I know my dad is up in heaven with you. If Massapequa Funeral Home, specifically the South Chapel needs anything I am here to help. My dad looked absolutely amazing in his casket and I am honored I had the privilege to meet Anthony. Anthony rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.

Anthony, who I have known for nearly all of the 30 + years he was a funeral director, was a prince of a fellow, a God-fearing man, devoted father and husband. My heart is broken to hear of his sudden passing, a friend and gentle soul who now celebrates life eternal in heaven. What a day it will be when we all meet again in God's Kingdom. May the peace which only Christ can give be with his dear wife and precious daughters now and forever. Rev. Kris Baudler St. Luke's Lutheran Church Bay Shore, NY
