Barbara Joan Gaidon (nee Graf), age 87, of Jensen Beach Florida, formerly of Amityville NY, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2021 at her Jensen Beach home. Born October 6, 1933, raised in Merrick NY, Barbara was married to her childhood sweetheart and soulmate Frank Gaidon for 67 years. Barbara and Frank wintered in Jensen Beach for many years before moving south permanently.
Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Barb, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her beloved husband Frank; her loving daughters Donna Lake (Richard) and Diane Gaidon; cherished grandchildren Gregory (Danielle), Christy, Mark, Katie, and Jennifer, and dear brother Alan (Jean).
Barbara was a loving, beautiful, and caring woman with a warm, sweet smile who enjoyed dancing, playing golf, doing crossword puzzles, playing bridge, and volunteering at the Nourish Babylon soup kitchen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Nourish Babylon Soup Kitchen, 12 Prospect Street, Babylon NY 11702, in memory of Barbara Gaidon.
