Bernice, you were such a wonderful role model. A great mother, so loving. And you always looked beautiful. You were a quintessential New Yorker when NYC was a simpler and more authentic place. You were it!

Dear Aunt Bunny, Even though I hadn't seen you for years you will be missed. You were my favorite Aunt – you were probably everyone's favorite Aunt. You always had perfectly coiffed hair and spotless makeup and the sweetest temperament with lots of spunk. The last time we saw each it was when you came to visit for my mom’s 90th birthday. I remember taking you shopping at the Amish farmers market you loved and when we got home to my mom’s I made you some of your favorite foods. We got along so well (probably because we were both the babies of our families and Virgos) that I could almost sense a little jealousy from my mom (your sister.) I enjoyed your company so much it was very hard to let you go back home. I know you are happy in heaven with Uncle Lou. Thank you for your kindness and being such a wonderful Aunt. Love,Rosebud
