Carmela was such a lovely and caring person she gave her heart and soul to people she looked to cook and enjoyed her family and friends and she was like a grandma to my children now there are grown up but they still remember Camila how she treated them so well we will always have her in our hearts

Carmella,
Mella is what we called her, we would stay at her house 1 or 2 nights every summer, we watched the big brown tv on the floor in the living room upstairs before bed and we would sleep in aunt frances old rm when bed time came. Sometimes the sirens would keep us jersey kids up and mella would sleep with us on the couch in the family room so we wouldnt be afraid. She was the closest thing we had to a grandma and even though she was soon to be a true grandma to her true grandkids…. She was ours then and we enjoyed every minute of every day spent with her at her house. Weather it was in the garden planting or in the driveway playing or helping her cook in the downstairs kitchen with the curtain, i know that me and my brothers will always have these great memories of spending time at mellas in the summer! I wouldnt trade them for the world! Love you mella!

My deepest condolences for the loss of a wonderful woman mother and grandmother. She opened up her home to me back in 1991and became a mom to me as she taught me how to make tomato sauce in huge pots that you cleaned with fig leaves and branches when you were done with them.. It's something that my family and I still do to this day. I will always be thankful for and cherish those special memories of making sauce with Mom.. May she rest in peace in God's hands.
