Claude J. Palmer, age 90, died peacefully in his Massapequa Park home on January 24, 2018. Devoted husband of Gertrude for 67 years. Loving father of Kevin Palmer (Gretchen), Diane Palmer Cornell (Mike), Keith Palmer (Kim), Donna Hill (Rich), Debra Della Porta (John), Dawn Trahey (Chris) & David Palmer (Lisa). Leaving a legacy of family, he is the adored grandfather of John (Brunna), Elizabeth, Rachel (Ryan), Brooke (Tommy), Mackenzie, Marisa, Halle, Allison, Matthew, Katelyn, Dylann, Shaun, Robert, Christopher & Scott and great grandfather of Sophia, Catherine and 1 on the way. Dear twin brother of Al Palmer of Farmingdale and sisters-in-law Madeline Palmer & Florence Leitke. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Claude may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
