Colleen Anne Scarisbrick passed away peacefully on May 9, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 2, 1962 in Glen Cove, NY, was raised in Hicksville, and raised her family in Massapequa. She was a math teacher at Lawrence Middle School for over 33 years where she was known as a firm yet compassionate educator. She was married to her high school sweetheart, J.P., for over 37 years. Colleen loved traveling, doing crossword puzzles, and cuddling with her dog, Camber. She is remembered by her family for her strength, witty sense of humor, and ability to solve any problem with pragmatism. She is survived by her husband as well as her children Ryan (Alex) and Sean (Kelly), and grandchildren Finnegan Frank and Ford Raymond.

Working closely with Colleen in the math department was a real joy. Her sense of humor was unmatched and her facial expressions alone would make you laugh out loud! Colleen was taken from her husband, her sons, and her grandchildren way too soon. We will always remember her.
