Aunt Dorothy was loved by all who knew her. I always felt welcome when we visited Middle Village growing up. It was a happy day when we all got together for her 100th birthday that September day. Rest in peace, Aunt Dorothy.

Aunt Dorothy lived a long wonderful life and gave us a beautiful family to be a part of. I always loved seeing her and my Grandmother (Aunt Mae) together at family events. Two queen matriarchs looking over all of us with love and protection. I know they are together now hanging out and playing cards with the rest of the Peters clan (and a couple of McAuley's too). Much love to our family during this sad and difficult time.

All our love & prayers are with Dorothy’s family. Dorothy was like a second mother to me, also a special Nana to our daughters. Our family was always included in all her family gatherings because she thought of us as part of her family too. She was in my life for over 56 years. We loved her so much & have a lot of special memories through the years. She will be sadly missed. May everyone take comfort in knowing that she’s with the Lord and loved ones that have passed before her. She had a good long life & not suffering anymore. What a glorious day it will be when all meet again.
