We are at such a loss with Edward’s passing. I just met Edward earlier this year in April, where a colleague from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices at the Hudson Valley office office introduce us, because we both had a passion for hotels. Edward worked inside the hotel industry, and I was exploring for a few years the sales of the entire hotels in the commercial real estate space and was looking for someone that could help us reach that faster. It was the perfect business match. I invited Edward to join The Sorangel Fersobe team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New York Properties, ( I had to fight to get him onboard as he was offered to join other top firms, as well.) Immediately we connected and the team felt empowered. I remember in one of our zoom meetings alongside another team member, the 3 of us became a master mind, for that one meeting. I was so looking forward to making that happen again, and scaling our team up with the addition of Edward joining us; I was looking forward to learning more from Edward and taking our team to the next level. He had a wonderful positive energy and personality that was contagious, and we both had a big vision of our Real Estate sales career. I’m at such a loss I didn’t get to meet his family and personal friends and know him for a longer time to have the privilege of calling him Eddie, …. I thought I had time to build this what I thought would be a long-time work relationship into a long-lasting friendship. I’m completely in shock and heartbroken for all who knew him. My deepest condolences to his immediate family, wife, children, siblings, and his childhood and life closest friends. May You find comfort and strength in this difficult time. We lost a great soul and human. May God have you resting in peace dear Edward, you will be deeply missed.

Uncle, we are all speechless. It’s an inspiration that while having so much more to live, you still managed to accomplish and cultivate a fulfilling life for yourself. My lasting memories of you will always be your charismatic presence. You will never be forgotten, God bless you.

“It will be little things that we remember—smiles, laughter—and although it is hard right now, the memories of these things will become tools to push away the pain.” Eddie, I’m still in disbelief that you are gone.. as I recall like yesterday the time that you came into the picture and I knew that you would make my dearest friend Lisa happy and that you would complete her… so I was more than willing to lose my place at her holiday parties as her +1 to you…. So many memories with such a kind and calm soul, and I will miss so many things.. relaxing and reclining on those couches, having a drink at your bar, receiving some of those delicious garden veggies… the last time I saw you I was too tired to stay for a drink and told you I’ll take a rain check ….Eddie I will make sure to raise a glass and make a toast..may your memory be eternal and know you will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved you… To my dearest friend, I want you to know that I’m thinking about you, praying for you, and aching deeply alongside you. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead.

You have been taken from us way too soon, life is not always fair or with reason. Our family will truly miss you. Your kindness and laughter will never be forgotten. You will continue to live on with us through all the memories we have shared together. Billy and I will miss meeting at the breweries and will be sure to always cheers to you!

I can’t believe that only two weeks ago we were sitting across from each other sharing Thanksgiving dinner together at my house. We were planning striped bass fishing this spring, and “maybe” skydiving next fall. I look at that chair in my dining room you sat in and can feel the spirit of you still there. I now give thanks for sharing those Mt.Beacon hikes, fishing trips, cigars, and Malbecs with you. You will be truly missed.

My beloved brother Edward, I am so lost for words. The grief and pain that your untimely departure has left in my heart will never be filled. I am so lost for words. You will forever live in our hearts and minds. The experiences we had as children and leading to adulthood will be eternally stored in my memory. Go fly high my Ed my beautiful angel. I just wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest condolences to all of Eddie’s family, including his wife Lisa and his triplets. Eddie and I were work friends for many years. The two of us became acquaintances at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City back in 2004 and over the years we kept in contact with one another. I will always remember Eddie for his energetic smile and his fun loving laugh. More importantly, I’ll remember our long conversations whether it was about work, sports or family. We used to always have conversations about seeing a Mets versus Yankees game as he was a big Mets fan and I was a big Yankees fan and we used to always have that fun rivalry together. However, I am glad we got to see each other at the Berkshire Hathaway Convention back in April at The Mohegan Sun Casino in CT so we could share some good times once again. I have attached a picture of the two of us together to reflect and show others some of the good times that we shared. You will truly be missed my friend.

My brother, your early departure has left us all scrambling in shock and awe. It’s hard to comprehend why such a young and vibrant life has to be snatched away from us. You will be deeply missed but will always live in our hearts and memories. Rest in Peace and May God almighty keep you in his care.
