It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Ann Tortorella, 62, of Massapequa Park, NY. A fighter to the end, she passed away on November 10th, 2023, surrounded by all of her loved ones. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Anthony; four children, Christopher (Jessica), Melissa, Ashley (Michael), and Matthew; four grandchildren, Giuliana, Luca, Sofia, and Sienna; her Father Walter, Brother Anthony (Kim), Sister Patricia, Nephew Jesse, and Niece Shayna. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Jean.

Fran grew up in Astoria, Queens where she met her loving husband Anthony of 37 years. Together they moved to Massapequa Park, NY where they built a beautiful life together. Being a mother was one of her greatest accomplishments. She was the rock for her family and always put others before herself.

Fran was passionate about her job of helping others as a Police Communications Operator. She loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, have her toes in the sand with the sun shining on her face, spend time upstate with her family, and being surrounded by her four beautiful grandbabies.

She will be deeply missed and is always in our hearts.

My deepest condolences to the Tortorella family, and those that love Fran. She was one of a kind. Always gave from the heart. I have so many wonderful memories with my childhood friend, growing up through trials and tribulations. She always had an open ear and we give, her time to listen to you. I'm so sad to hear of Fran's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her once, Fran was full of light and had a beautiful smile. Tony was so proud of her, he had a nonstop smile. Thinking of Tony, their children and grandchildren, God comfort and keep them; give them strength and understanding to get through these days. Jesus has welcomed Fran home with a hug and a "Thank you, good and faithful servant." God bless you!
