Frank was and will always be someone who left an indelible impression on me a long time ago. I used to mow his lawn while going to college back in the early 90's and always waited until the end of the day to cut his beloved lawn. He would give me a hard time about using the large mower so I was happy to oblige his request to use a small typical push mower just to satisfy him. Years later I visited him and Dot and he invited me into his office in the house to show me his buddies from the War. Dot such a sweet person told me he never took anybody back there and that made me so proud and thankful that I had made an impact on him as mush as he had made on me. The two of them were an amazing couple and I visited a couple more times and watched as Frank would give Dot a hard time about taking her meds and she would whisper to me that she was hiding them in her hand because she didnt want to take them! Then Frank would disappear in the back and come out with an envelope where he documented my visits and what we talked about and since his memory was fading, he also would re-write how I was the guy who had been cutting his lawn back in the early 90's. I am honored to have known both Frank and Dot and thankful for the time spent just talking to and listening to them. Two amazing people...Rest in peace

Our sincerest condolences to the Speck family. Mr. Speck entrusted our family with his beloved home in 2011 and we are forever grateful. He was a wonderful and kind man who took great pride in his home, his family, and absolutely adored his wife. We can only hope that they are once again reunited. May he rest in peace.
