Geppy was my American Dad since when I moved to NY from Japan and began working for Marilyn at Per Te.
He was always asking me how I was getting along, and offering his perspective on anything I might need help with. We went many times to our favorite Portuguese restaurant, where we would have sangria and laugh and laugh!
One thing we used to talk about was my camping trailer, which he seemed very interested in. And I remember one time when I offered to give him some more information on it, he said: “Oh no, don't worry, I'll just google it"! And I said to him: “Really?? You're almost in your 90's, and you know about googling? Wow you really are an up-to-date Super Dad!”
I will always think of Geppy with his big smily face!
