George Tiganitakis 1948 – 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of George Tiganitakis of Bellmore, NY, on October 2, 2023. He was 75 years old. George was a beloved husband to Pamela, devoted father to Angela and husband Sal, Melissa, Toula and husband Troy, and grandfather to Alexandra, Frankie, Iliana, and Alexa.
George immigrated from Greece in the early 1970’s to begin his American dream. Over the years he built many successful small businesses in the construction field, and later owned and operated a popular local florist.
In his retirement he loved to fish and enjoyed building a beautiful garden. Words can never express the immense loss to our family. We are grateful, beyond measure, to have been blessed with his fun-loving nature, magnetic charm and beautiful heart all these years. His wisdom, sound advice and endless great stories will be forever missed.
