Gerardo Cipriano

I was incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Jerry. Jerry was my first manager out of college and I still have fond memories of him. On 9/11 our office building was located next to the World Trade Center. Several months later we had been relocated to a building on Wall Street when one morning the fire alarms went off. No one knew what was happening and we received no instructions. Everyone started running down the stairs and I remember seeing Jerry standing in the staircase - I asked him why he wasn’t leaving and he said he wanted to make sure everyone was okay and safe.

My heart goes out to Jerry's family for the horrible loss. It was a privilege to pay respects on Saturday to Jerry, who's been a great to work with all these years. I have so many fond memories that I will cherish. Please accept my sincere condolences to the whole family.

When I graduated from college it took a while for me to obtain a full time accounting position. I was young, had little experience and a recent physical disability. Jerry gave me the an opportunity to work under him. I will always be grateful to him. He was an amazing boss and an amazing person. I am honored to have known Jerry. He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. My condolences.
