Aunt Gert (Diane) was the first real feminist I had the pleasure to know. I remember her saying to me one summer day “you can walk through that door because I came before you and kicked it down.” She sure did! Thank you for being an inspiration and for demanding no less than what you deserved. You will be missed. - michelle

Diana was a wonderful lady and a beautiful spirit. My mom traveled the world with her, and when they could no longer travel they spoke on the phone every Monday for 40 years. It is a great loss to my mom, and to our family. May she rest in peace. Sending love to the family. Susie.

Opinionated, brash, and endearing all the same. Aunt Gert was a good egg. I’m glad I knew her. Much love from NC, Rob “Robby” Davis
