Your mum was such a ray of sunshine. Her wit and kindness made every gathering fun. I remember our ski trip together. Not much snow but a lot of laughs! I like to imagine her having a laugh with my dad and Mrs.Hanft.

My friend Helyn died a few days ago. I am happy that I was living here long enough to become friends with Helyn. She brought a lot of happiness to so many of the residents here at Paul Spring, a senior retirement community. She was always fun to be around. She made people in her vicinity laugh. She was always alert to residents passing by our table or sitting several tables away who were experiencing more difficulty walking or were clearly in more pain than was usual. And she was out of her chair in a flash going to their side. The rest of us at the table were rarely quicker than Helyn to notice the problem. It was a privilege to know her. And it was fun to have her as a friend. In loving memory, Fran Lunney

I have a lot of good memories of holidays and other events spent with Aunt Helen and the family. She was always so much fun and caring. I loved her joy and happy smile. It meant a lot to me as a teenager when she would give me a pocketbook as a Christmas gift. She made me feel important and grown up. I will miss you, but I am happy to have known you. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to our family.

I am so sorry for your loss - I know how much you will miss her. Many years ago when Helen was expecting Jayne in a day or so, a bunch of her friends, including me, threw a last minute baby shower. When most of the gifts had been opened, and most of the gifts were pink, Helen looked at all of us and said "I THINK they said it was a girl." She was always able to make us laugh.

Condolences to the family. We, the Golden Girls, will miss Helen’s beautiful smile and her bright blue eyes. Whenever she entered Sal’s for happy hour that’s when happy hour really began. If anyone knew her well, she was consistently late. Once she came a day late. We love you Helen and will miss you. Know that our happy hour will begin with a toast to you. May the Lord embrace you in his arms forever.

Thank you Aunt Helen for all the love you showed me over the years. No matter what life dished out to us you found a way to make me laugh and sometimes so hard I couldn’t contain myself. You truly are not only my favorite Aunt but a friend I will always cherish.
