I met Howie originally when working at Fullhouse Productions during the 2000s, and continued to enjoy our time together when seeing him at audio trade shows and conventions. It was always a delight to catch up with him, I considered him a friend. My condolences to the Kaufman family. Howie was one of a kind, and an amazing spirit. I will truly miss his presence.

Worked with Howie at the Center for Media Arts. He was a meticulous instructor who always questioned the value of what we were teaching to these aspiring audio students. A droll sense of humor. It was a special group of people that made the place such a great place to work and learn. Howie was a big part of it. Long may you roam my friend.
Debbie Sausville left a message on March 13, 2020:
Howard Kaufman was a brilliant and effervescent member of the audiovisual community. It was my pleasure to meet Howard more than 20 years ago at ICIA/InfoComm/AVIXA education and trade show events. He had a great sense of humor and has left a lasting impression on so many people. My deepest sympathies to Howard's family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the pleasure of working with Howie for many years while living in New York, and keep fond memories of him. Howie was such a warm person with a kind and gentle soul. A brilliant mind, he was always willing to share his knowledge with me and other engineers. My wife, Eliane, and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Catherine, and all the Kaufman family.

Howie was the light of Massapequa Starbucks! His favorite drink was an Americano. He would often sit in the lobby to do work. The team here in Massapequa would like to extend our condolences to the Kaufman family!!!! ❤
