Now some special words about Jackie:
Jackie wanted to be a mother her whole life, H er 11 year younger sister Janet was her trial run. She was a one of kind Mother who moved mountains for her three sons Sean, Aidan and Brian with a determined passion and a smile. She pushed her boys to be the best they could be and never settled, and surrounded them with the love of “Jackie’s People”
She found great pleasure out of watching Sean’s passion for Art /Animation develop, Brian’s love for DVD’s, Disney and celebrating Christmas every day of the year and Aidan love for the oceans, surfing, cycling and working out.
She loved being married to John Troy, Typical Jackie, John had to travel to So. California to hear as she announced it to Janet’s T-bird friends.
She enjoyed hosting in her home with “Chef John” for friends, family and often welcoming strangers.
She enjoyed traveling, mastering the use of her time-share, deal making and trying new things. On vacation she was first one ready in the am to go explore, hit the beach, the mountains, visiting a new church to make 3 wishes, Visit theme parks especially disney or seeing “Jackie’s People”.
She also loved smiling, dancing, music, white daisies, ice cream, the name “Patrick”, giving all three sons the same middle name, scratch off’s, going to the wineries, beach, seeing a play or movie, favorite songs include“Build me up Buttercup” by the foundations, “Wise Men Say” by Elvis Presley, “I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hays, “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole, “Somewhere over the Rainbow” and anything by Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Carly Simon. But, most of all she loved being around “Jackie’s People”.
From childhood to now, Jackie had lifetime passion for helping special needs children, working at Anchor, running Special Olympics nationally, it’s only fitting that god chose her to be the mother of Brian and Aidan, and she fought hard to give them everything they need surrounding them with “Jackie’s People” who love them so much and will guide them going forward.
The fearless fighter fought a hard battle against this awful breast cancer. Taking her last breath holding hands with the love of her life John peacefully moving onto eternal life for that we know she is smiling down on that sunny day.
