He was a great man that lived a full life with people around him that loved him. I was lucky to have had a chance to spend time with him, hear his war stories, and even receive an infamous "luv ya" hug from him. He will be missed.

I wish I had the right words to express what an incredible person Uncle Jimmy was and how much he meant to the Wright family. I have been unable to get to Long Island very much during my childhood and my adult years - but a highlight of our visits were spent at Aunt Dot & Uncle Jimmy's house. They had a pool, the food spread always seemed to be better at their house, and the best part was the fun and laughter we shared with family. I am blessed to have known Uncle Jimmy as he epitomizes what being a good person is all about. He was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, friend, and to me - uncle. I think in life it is important to press forward and have no regrets. However, I can't help but wish at this time that I did not live 1500 miles away and I would have got to spend more time with the life-loving Uncle Jimmy. Aunt Dot, Nancy, Lori, Joni, and Linda - I am so sorry for your loss. I love you all.

Uncle Jim,Some may wonder why you didn't stick around for a few more days till your 90th Birthday...but we suspect we know why...you didn't want all the FUSS!!!Our world will be a little bit emptier without your special laugh, your quiet humor, your gentle hug, and your unconditional love. Though we were miles away in Western Australia when you chose to leave, we want you to know that the amazing bright red sunset you sent our way made us smile and think of you. We treasure all the special moments we've been so lucky to share with you. You live in our hearts always.Barb & Bob
