Jane Frances Zach, (nee Kalenty) daughter of Anna and Michael Kalenty, born June 30th, 1928, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2022, in Massapequa, three weeks short of her 94th birthday. She is survived by her children Fr. Kenneth M. Zach, pastor of Good Shepherd Church in Holbrook; Thomas Zach of Huntington Station; Mariann Zach of New Jersey; and David and Karen Zach and their daughter Chloe Jane, beloved grandchild. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Chester and Lottie Kalenty, who extended their care and concern in her later years, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Theodore Anthony Zach. Born in Brooklyn, she was a long time resident of Huntington Station, an active parishioner and Rosarian of St. Hugh of Lincoln Parish, and a Eucharistic Minister to Huntington Hospital. She will be waked at Massapequa Funeral Home South Chapel, 4-6 and 7-9 Sunday June 12th. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday June 13th, at 10:45, at her Parish of St. Hugh of Lincoln, Huntington Station.
