Flora Jean Glessing, 79, of Massapequa Park, NY passed away on November 6, 2021. Beloved wife of George Glessing. Loving mother of Jean, (Doug), Ron, (Erin). Treasured grandmother of Christopher, Cassandra, Kimberly, Naomi, Melanie, Ian, and Gabrielle. Cherished by sisters Betty (Tony), Carol (Peter), Mary (Tony), and Rosie. Loving sister-in-law to Joan and Frances and the late Leonard, Lorraine, Harold, and Eleanor. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Jean was the owner of the Daisy Card Shop in Brooklyn. She shared her beautiful, unwavering faith in God generously throughout her health challenges.

We are so sorry to learn of Jean's passing. She was a beloved member of The McKenna Senior Center. We had years of fun and laughter with her. No matter what obstacle life put in her path, her faith allowed her to face them head on with joy and peace in her heart. She has been an inspiration in how to live life gracefully. She will be missed, as her husband, George, is missed as well. We are thankful for our time together. Our deepest, heartfelt sympathy to her family.
