I Am Grieved To The Very Depths Of My Soul Since March 25th, 2024 For Detective Jonathan E. Diller even tho I have never met him or knew him. It’s A Huge Terrible Tragedy! May Almighty God Surround His Wife And His Son Ryan All The Days Of His Life.

Dear Family of P.O. Diller- There are so many things that can be said at this time. There are issues throughout our country with criminals not facing consequences, elected officials not encouraging criminals to face consequences and the general disregard for life and other people. However, commenting on any of this does not lessen your heartache and pain on the loss of your beloved Jonathan. Although I did not know him, or your family, what others have attested to, on his behalf, is his courage and his kindness, which made a difference in the community he served. Your tribute to him, which began on March 25, is accentuating his bravery and his resilience. Your bravery, in speaking up for all of his brothers and sisters in the NYPD & Police Officers throughout the nation, is a testament to your love and respect for a wonderful man. It is a testament to the love you shared. Love that grows strength & does not encourage complacency or self absorption. Mr. Diller’s young son will know the courage, kindness and selfless love his father had, as you are now living it out. We have seen the good of the Diller family manifested across the world this Holy Week. The love of God, country, family and community will resonate for eternity because of Officer Diller. As a young daughter of NYPD, I stood at that same bus stop and walked the streets of Far Rockaway in the 60’s. It was a lifetime ago. May our prayers and continued hope help change the future so that Ryan will grow up knowing his dad led the way for a safer world and better tomorrow. As planes flew overhead, his little hand reached high knowing that his dad remains a grasp away. Shalom.

My dad died in 2019, that’s when the amazing people at the Massapequa Funeral Home came into our lives, Travis and Anthony were absolutely wonderful and I’m still sad knowing Anthony is no longer with us. I am SICK AND TIRED of the violence against our brothers and sisters of law enforcement. I am absolutely disgusted with bail reform and the criminals that get to roam freely that have numerous past convictions and are a threat to society. It shouldn’t be that in order for things to change an officer has to get shot and killed in the line of duty. Changes have to be made and it most certainly will not happen overnight, gun violence needs to end and stricter gun laws must be made including banning the sale of AR-15’s and other firearms that can cause mass destruction and multiple fatalities. The violence towards our LEO’s all across the 50 states as well as NY needs to end, rest in peace brother in blue Jonathan Diller 💙🖤🚔🕊️🥺
