On Friday, September 23, 2022, Jorge Caolboy Clemente passed away with his loving wife of 54 years by his side. Jorge Caolboy Clemente, 82, of Massapequa Park, loving husband of Normita Clemente. Loving father of Norge Clemente (Long) and Karen Clemente (Klein). Beloved grandfather of Olivia and Cami Long, and Ciara Klein. Predeceased by his mother Maria Caolboy and father Magno Clemente Sr., as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews nationally and internationally. Jorge graduated with his Chemical Engineering degree from Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines, and spent his career as an engineer, working at places from Getty Oil to Pepsi Co., his final place of employment. He loved to play baseball and basketball in his youth. He was a member of his college Rho Chi fraternity. He was a family man who valued time spent with his wife and daughters and his granddaughters. He enjoyed watching sports (NY teams were his favorite) and traveling when he was able. He loved to read the paper every day. He and his wife loved to entertain and go to parties. When the karaoke machine was out, he was never shy to offer to sing and he was known to cut-up-the-rug with his signature dance moves. He was famous for manning the grill for large family and friend gatherings. He lit up any room he walked into with his big smile and infectious laugh. He was an active member of many prayer group communities often-times holding leadership positions. He was a generous man with an enormous heart that loved to make people laugh. He was a good friend to many and will be missed by all.
