Joseph Kevin Sindlinger, 70, formerly from Massapequa, NY, passed on September 1, 2022.
Joe was born in Richmond Hill, New York to Joseph F. and Florence (Jones) Sindlinger.
He graduated from Alfred G. Berner High School, and soon after enlisted into the United States Navy. He served four years with NAS Oceana, which included a two-year assignment in Iceland, and achieved AB H3 status.
Joe will be missed by his sisters Lynn Skordilis, Sue Nello (Michael), Fran Sindlinger and Judy Sindlinger; his sister-in-law Linda Sindlinger (Jeff) and by his nieces and nephews Michael Nello (Monica), Ryan Sindlinger, and Jenna Sindlinger.
Joe was predeceased by his brothers, Jeffery Sindlinger and Patrick Sindlinger.
Services will be private, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust or Wounded Warriors.
