Katherine (Kay) A. Moore, 90, of Lebanon, NH, passed away on July 21, 2022. We take comfort knowing she was surrounded by loved ones in her final days.

She was born to parents Sarah and William Swinyard in Garden City, NY. While she moved to Lebanon in 2009, she always considered Massapequa her home. Kay was the devoted wife of the late James P. Moore. She was the beloved mother of Deborah (Rick), James (Randi), Todd, Kevin (Elizabeth), Karen, Thomas (Kim), David (Jennifer). She is also survived by her brother, William Swinyard along with 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James; sons, Todd and Kevin; and grandson, Kenneth.

She enjoyed being an active member and former president of AAUW and the Women’s Club of Massapequa. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. Kay also enjoyed attending social events, playing Bridge, and traveling.

The family has entrusted Massapequa Funeral Home – North Chapel with the arrangements.

Kay was a wonderful leader and friend. Although she no longer lived in Massapequa, she will always be considered a member of our groups: AAUW, Woman's Club, and Bridge. Joan always alerted us when she was coming and invited us to spend time with her. It was as if she never left us.
