You introduced youself then started naming all the people that were there, Then you looked at me and send "there will be a quiz at the end of the evening." OK. Then when you meant my husband at my son's wedding you and your husband could not have welcomed him more sweetley. He was so inpressed with both of you. I will try to keep the Ancestry going in your memory. We love you Sandra and James Regner

Lillian (Lovey) has been a friend, teacher of life's lessons, leading example of how to carry one's self, and how to share God's love. She always did the right thing for a situation, yet maintained a lively spark of energy. A giving soul with an 'impish' sense of humor. Lovey lit up every room by her presence and kindness. She and Gene (Corky) were a team, ordained by Heaven, from the start. They were childhood friends and grew into sweethearts, their shared a tremendous sense of compassion, civic duty, faith and fun. Lifelong service kept them young and always engaged. Thanks to Lovey, Massapequa's rich history has been preserved. Her stories and tales for childrens' groups were a passion. It was often difficult to tell who had more fun, the kids, or her. Lillian and Gene are reunited again. God bless their souls,

My best friend's mother was an extraordinary woman. I had never met anyone so kind, caring, and so willing to listen. Lovey seemed to always be creating, curating, and appreciating beautiful things in her life. In my frequent visits to Lisa's house during our college years, I was struck by the loving relationship Lovey and Corky had. Happy lives, well-lived.

Dear Lisa and Barry, Your mom was my North Star—always inspiring and shining bright. She was always upbeat, positive, and would light up a room! I will miss her phone calls and annual Christmas letters that spoke so eloquently about your families—I kept everyone one of them! She had so much love to give and shared it with everyone. Heaven is a brighter place now with Lovey next to God. Next time I look up at the stars, I know the brightest one will be hers talking back to me. My sincere condolences.
