Loretta Ugolini, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, niece and friend, has passed away with her family by her side.
Born to a loving family, and only after having raised one of her own, she now peacefully joins her many relatives and friends in Heaven who have gone before her. But this peace will only be short-lived, as we are all certain there is a table set with her mother and aunts waiting to stuff food down her mouth until she can’t move, and ready to turn deaf ears to her pleas of “no more”. In addition, hours of guilt await her with questions of why it took her so long to get to the party. We’re sure she is already shopping somewhere looking for the perfect dress, makeup, and several pairs of shoes to match the ensuing festivities, making the most with whatever currency she was afforded in Heaven (and God – if you are the eternal CEO and/or CFO – she deserves every penny she asks for).
Her sons, Richard and Christian, and husband Richie would like everyone to know It has been a privilege to take care of her in her time of need. It was not always easy, and not always possible for some, but collectively we ALL made sure mom had what she needed to live her life in peace, in a loving home, and continuously surrounded by the family and friends who she shared so much joy with.
I don’t like cliches, but our feelings cannot be articulated any simpler than this:
We will miss you mom – but we will never forget you or the good times you brought us. And we will all see you soon (but hopefully not too soon).
May Love and Peace Be With You Forever Mom.
