Marie Catherine Donohue passed away on February 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Marie, the daughter of the late Julia and Peter O’Donohue, was born on January 8, 1941 in the Bronx, NY. She is survived by her children Laura, Robin, Michael, and Kerri; her grandchildren Taylor, Jillian, Evan, Amy, Nicholas, and Paige; her sons-in-law Joseph and Michael; and daughter-in-law Pamela.Marie spent many years as a hardworking and amazing nurse in San Diego and on Long Island. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling the world, listening to the Beatles, taking care of her animals, and drinking Diet Coke. She will be remembered for her sense of adventure, gift of gab, and keen sense of humor.In lieu of flowers, our family requests that those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Marie Donohue.
