It is with great sadness that the family of Mary C. Degner announces her passing on May 3, 2020.

Born to Thomas V. and Catherine Sullivan, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Warren J. Degner.

Devoted mother to her “girls” Mary Ellen Degner and Kathleen Degner with whom she shared her love of reading, shopping, and dancing,

Also survived by her loving brothers and spouses, Thomas and Barbara Sullivan, and Joseph and Joyce Sullivan, and her nieces and nephews, and many long time friends.

She delighted in finding ways to make her younger brothers feel special when they were growing up together.

Mary and her family are parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa Park, NY for over 50 years.

She was never happier than when she was in her garden, at the library, or at the beach, most especially her days in Far Rockaway and Rockaway Beach, NY.
