The sadness we feel is overwhelming to say the least. To see our neighbor Pat go from the feisty, social person we knew to being physically challenged and in pain was heartbreaking. Our love, thoughts and prayers will be with his wife Pat and his family.

Pat and I served proudly together in the Army Military Police in Germany. Pat was an open book to his life, a credit to his family, the military, Brooklyn and his Irish roots. We often shared and cherished our memories. Our prayers and thoughts are with his beloved wife Patricia and the family. Bob De Camp
Larry Kirwan left a message on January 8, 2022:
Dear Patricia, Patrick and Kelly: My sincerest condolences on Pat's passing. He was a wonderful person, so kind, talented, and helpful to so many other writers and musicians. He always had a good word to say about other artists and at the same time kept us grounded with his understated humor and Brooklyn good sense. I remember, in particular, a comprehensive article he wrote about Black 47 for the Daily News. It struck me after reading it that "Pat really gets the band!" He understood us in a way that few other writers could even imagine. I'll truly miss him. Take care of yourselves in this time of loss. Ní bheidh a leithéad ann arís. Sincerely, Larry Kirwan
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So sad to hear about Pat's passing. We had the fortune to work with him on one of his wonderful plays (Jack's Last Call) and will miss him. Sending condolences to Pat and the family too.
