I met Patti when she was secretary to my husband, Leo M. Walsh, Jr. at The Equitable Life. Immediately I saw a lovely and welcoming smile. Patti worked for Leo for many years and so I would see or speak to her often. Patti had a wonderful personality - always upbeat, always polite and pleasant. And funny too! Working for Leo had to be stressful, but Patti always remained calm under pressure. I remember one really funny incident. Leo was a chain smoker in the old days. One day there was a meeting going on in his office without him. His door was locked and guess what - he didn't have any cigarettes on him. He was pacing back and forth when I stopped by and suggested Patti keep a "panic pack" in her desk for him. To a non-smoker, it was a hilarious scene, but Patti kept her composure and after that she told me she did keep a panic pack for him. Leo and I would see Patti and Michael on occasions at Carol and Ernie Adach's house for parties. Her smile and happy self always lit up the room and made everyone just love her being there. She has left an indelible mark on my life as such a good person who cared deeply about her family and friends. While I haven't seen much of Patti in the last several years, Carol has kept me updated on her and Michael. Michael has given Patti such extraordinary loving care over the past several years. He has been an incredible loving husband. I'm hoping Patti and Leo meet in the non-smoking section of heaven and have a grand reunion.

A lifetime of wonderful memories with Patti. We met as young women at Equitable and that friendship blossomed over the years. Wonderful times at Patti's dinner parties and casual barbecues at our home. She was a loving caring friend and the girls treasure all of their times with Patti. She will be so missed by all of us.

Dearest Patti will be missed. She had a wicked sense of humor, was an avid reader and trivia expert. Was kind to people, canines and felines.-Love,Susie
