I am sorry to hear about Ralph. We worked together in CSPS and also city wide anti crime he and Jerry supervised the day shift and I the 4 by 12 shift. Not only did we have a good working relationship but also developed a good friendship. It was my good fortune to have known him. Transit cops are tops and he was one of the best.

My Condolences to the family of Sgt. Ralph Defelice. I worked with Ralph out of Dist 33 & 31 both in uniform and in plain clothes A/C as one of our Sgt's. Ralph was serious when he needed to be and also someone who could laugh at a situation when necessary to lighten the mood. He was always there for his men. I remember his walk. It appeared he was always walking on his "tippy toes". We used to tease him about it. He will be missed. We had a great team of brothers back then.
Rabbi Harry Berkowitx left a message on January 18, 2021:
