Cousin Marty [Sites] Hauhuth moved to Connecticut where she still lives. This picture was taken at the beach in winter near her home at Westport on Long Island Sound during the 1970's. Cousins often gathered there

Tommy Sites left a message on December 27, 2022:
Bob and I were part of the Martyn extended family, first cousins with shared grandparents--Fred and Helen Martyn. I felt close to all my cousins, but Bob was part of the Rath immediate family. When I was growing up in Rockville Centre on Long Island, my Rath cousins lived in nearby Baldwin with my Aunt Rainy and Uncle Alan. Rainy was my mother Helen's little sister. We saw a lot of the Raths, often at Gramma and Grampa Martyn's home next to the house I grew up in. I never felt more loved or more happy than when I spent time with the Martyns. Cousin Bob was very much part of my childhood. Attached, (hopefully), is a picture taken around 1950--I think on Thanksgiving at our Uncle Sandy's home. Cousins all. Bob is second from right front row.
