Bob was a wonderful, extraordinary person!! I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob's passing and extend my condolences to his bereaved family. Lastly, I was very happy to contribute my deposit containers to Bob's passion -- giving the proceeds to St. Rose's outreach. RIP, Robert!

Mr. Elder was my 5th grade teacher many years ago. Still today he was instrumental in my passion of educating today's youth. RIP Mr. Elder.

Mr. Elder was my 5th grade teacher and he was by far my favorite teacher. I learned so much from him. He was a great man and very funny. My thought and prayers go out to his friends and family. May he rest in peace :)

Mr. Elder was my 5th grade teacher at Unqua Elementary School. I was lucky to have him as a teacher and I will never forget how he made me feel special (he gave me a Pippy Longstocking poster I loved). He left such a lasting impression on me. I have such fond memories of him and always looked forward to seeing him at church. What a great man who touched so many lives. You will be missed by many. Rest in peace. Xoxoxo
Elaine Ditzel left a message on March 14, 2015:
Bob came to my house many times over the years to pick up furniture I no longer needed to be given to those less fortunate. He is also well known for all the cans he recycled in order to give money to the St. Rose Outreach, and that was quite a bit. He was a very charitable person, always had a smile and a nice "hello" and I extend my condolences to his family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Mr Elder always had a smile on his face as he greeted me when I arrived for Mass at St Rose of Lima. He was an extraordinary man who went out of his way to help others. He will be missed by many. My sincerest sympathies to his wife, family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with all who are feeling saddened by his loss. May he rest in peace.
