I will never forget Ron. He will always be my wize older brother. He taught me so many things growing up like repairing my bike, fixing cars and skiing tricks. He always had some clever way to fix or do something and made it fun to do. We even put a roof on Mom’s GCP rental house. He was the roof master. Amazing! When we were older we had so much fun together going kayaking, canoeing, hiking, camping and skiing. What amazing adventures we had! I know he’s in Heaven and looking down on us and saying “Don’t make such a big deal about me, it’s nice here and they’re keeping me busy doing things I love” “Hang in there ‘till we meet again and we’ll go camping here at the St. Peters Camp ground…maybe some skiing!” “I’ll see you there” Yes, I will always remember Ron and will see you again. Ron would not have it any other way.

My Cousin Ron was the most adventurous person I’ve ever met in my life. He took after his father Bob - No Fear - was his motto. I have fond memories of how Ron showed us all how to hike, camp, canoe, cross country ski & downhill speed ski. In 1972 us kids decided to go skiing in Chamonix France, Ron was the Ring Leader. We all remember you Ron and Thank you!

My sympathy in the loss of Ron. He was a wonderful husband, Maureen, and father, Chris and Kaitlyn. Ron always smiled. He was a great skier in Vermont! We were amazed at his speed and skill handling moguls. God must be welcoming him home. Love and prayers.

Ron taught me how to ride a bike. I remember riding up the sidewalk by the Nicholai house. I called back “OK Ron you can let go “. from a few hundred feet away I heard “I already let go “. I immediately crashed on the bike. What a great brother.
