I had the pleasure of knowing Ruth for over 50 years in our capacity as teachers & union activists. During that time we became good friends and enjoyed many memorable times together! I moved to Florida in 2020, so I am so glad I went to Long Island for her induction into the Massapequa Hall of Fame. We got a chance to reminisce and reunite with friends. I will miss her! My sincere condolences to her family.
