Randy C McCarthy left a message on November 27, 2020:
Dear Julie, Tommy and Richie - I was very sorry to hear of Sal's passing. Between my 4 brothers and I having played for him, he was a great influence on my entire family and we all loved him. My parents loved him as well. He was the epitome of a Coach, both on and off the field, and he will be truly missed. I deeply regret not being able to convey my respects in person, but, due to COVID and the anticipated arrival of 3 grandchildren, I will not be there today. Rest in Peace Coach Serpe. With Love and Condolences, Randy McCarthy

Richie & Family, May the loving memories of your father comfort you in this difficult time. Your dad was a mainstay of Melissa Lane & Dahill Road. His lawn was emaculate. He always had a smile on his face and supported the kids in the neighborhood in his quiet way. I was never the one to hit the ball over your fence in the sand lot but Mr. Serpe never had a problem with us getting the ball. Hang in there, Marty Kunoff & Family
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
