Sieglinde “Lilly” Brozek died peacefully surrounded by her family, on April 23, 2022 at the age of 81.

Born in Munich, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ernst and Anni Stiessberger. Lilly is survived by her beloved husband, Randy, and her children, Mark (Patricia) Brozek and Karen (Joseph) Minissale. Lilly was blessed with four grandchildren – Joseph (Madison) Brozek, Anne (Michael) Randazzo, Juliana and Joseph Minissale. Lilly is also survived by her brother, Ernst (Christel) Stiessberger, and her nieces, Veronika and Sabine, of Germany.

At the age of 18, Lilly traveled across the Atlantic by steamship to marry her beloved Randy. They spent their early years in Columbus, Ohio and Flushing, NY and eventually settled in Massapequa, NY where they raised their children and recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Lilly enjoyed traveling and spending time in Sanibel Island and on Candlewood Lake in CT with her husband and family, and especially cherished her visits with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lilly’s Celebration of Life on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 7-9pm at Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel, 4980 Merrick Road, Massapequa Park, NY 11762. Memorial mass will be held at 9:15am at St. Rose of Lima, 2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lilly’s name to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia benefitting the Adolescent Young Adult Oncology Program, via their website:
