Dawne & Tim Farrell left a message on December 9, 2022:
Vera, You were a sweet and lovely lady and neighbor for 19 years. I will never think of figs without thinking of you. You would always send some over from your tree for Timmy. The last time I saw you in fact, it was after you had broken your hip. You were still using your walker and had phoned me to stop by to pick up some figs because you were unable to walk them over. I came over while on my break from work and we chatted for a bit. I said it was good that your son was around to help you out. You told me he was a great help and was even cooking dinner for you every night. You had invited me to stay for a cup of coffee or tea, and I wished I had been able to do that day, but I had only taken a short break from work and had to get back for a meeting. I said I would stop by again another day when I had more time. That's just how life is we always think we have more time. Rest in peace Vera and I am sending my deepest condolences to your son John and your daughter Ann Marie. Warm Regards, Dawne
