Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Virginia Smith, mother of Makom friend Terri Miller (Arthur), mother of Cara Rutzel (Larry), Patricia Curry (James) and Kathleen Pagliuca (Patrick), both of blessed memory; grandmother of Matthew, Jaime, Michael, Elizabeth, Krystyn, Shawn, Ryan, Ashleigh, Christopher, Patrick, Bryan, James, Abigail, Stephen and David; great-grandmother of 17.
Visitation will take place at the Massapequa Funeral Home North Chapel
1050 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, NY as follows:
Tuesday, February 26: 4:00-7:00pm
Wednesday, February 27: 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm
A funeral mass will take place on
Thursday, February 28 at 9:30am at
Our Lady of Lourdes Church
855 Carmans Road, Massapequa Park, NY
Burial will follow at Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Bright Focus Foundation, an organization that funds research in Macular Degeneration.
May the family be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may they know no more sorrow.
