Christina Wallace left a message on February 27, 2020:
Warren was a true gentleman and an incredible businessman! My father, Ernie Wallace, spoke extremely highly of Warren and Pat. He would share stories of his adventures with Warren, Mario and others at the many industry events and conventions. Sometimes in business, it is difficult to find true friends. But Warren was the definition of true friend, both personally and professionally. South Shore was built upon his knowledge and values, which is why it is a successful and respected business. Warren will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. We send our deepest condolences to Pat, Tory, David and everyone at South Shore. -Chrissy, Lorraine and The Shipman's Fire Equipment Family

I am so saddened by this news. Warren was a true gentleman and fantastic business owner. I will remember our many Sunday mornings with coffee and dunkin donuts when he would swing by the FH to say hello. May he rest in peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Regrettably I got the news today that WARREN SMITH Owner of South Shore Fire and Safety Equipment has passed away. Warren's son David called me today with the sad news. I have known Warren for over 4 decades and enjoyed every minute of our friendship. He was always a wealth of knowledge and taught me things about fire equipment, SCBA and tools that you could find nowhere else on the planet. He was a gentleman and a mentor to many and a great example of integrity, fairness and work ethic. Tory, David and the entire Smith clan my deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved Father, Husband and Grand Pa. Peace Warren and thank you from all of us.

My condolences to the family. What a life well lived! Warren was one of the very very first dealers for Task Force Tips if not the first dealer. He took a chance on a little fledging company that was operating out the basement of their home in Indiana. Year after year we would ,meet at various trade shows. His experiance and feedback were essential to the success of our company which now employs nearly 300. Thanks Warren for taking a chance on us, you made a difference.
