William J. McPhillips, 88, of Port St Lucie, Florida, passed away on August 15, 2023. He was born in Manhattan, NY, and lived in New Windsor, NY, Kerhonkson, NY, Ronkonkoma, NY, as well as Astoria, Queens.
He lived In Port St Lucie the past 18 years. He was a great Husband, Dad, brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend. He was a NYC Firefighter and well respected by his peers. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the stock market.
He is preceded in death by his wife Florence of 61 years and his sons William and Kevin.
He is survived by his loving wife Johanna (Joan) and his children Kathy (John) Of Conway, SC, and Michael (June) of Massapequa, NY, brother Marty, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also leaves behind his loving dog Sophie.
